Mr. Kamat has more than 16 years' experience in private equity and corporate finance with GE Capital in London and Stamford, CT. He joined SUN in 2006 and is responsible for the coordination of Group activities. Prior to SUN, he was the head of Leveraged Finance in Europe for GE Capital.  He led a staff of 160 across four offices, and a business with annual lending volume of $7 billion, asset portfolio of $4 billion, and net income of $125 million. He was also a member of the senior management and credit committees of the Corporate Finance business in Europe. From 2002 to 2003, he was Head of the Structured Finance business, and from 1998 to 2002, he built and led the European Telecom business.

Mr. Kamat received an MBA from Wharton and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
