Mr. Lopez has over 20 years of experience in real estate and investment banking. He joined SUN in 2008 as Chief Executive Officer of SUN Real Estate. Prior to SUN, he was Global Head of Real Estate for Cambridge Place Investment Management, a London based hedge fund, where he built a real estate team and acquired over $2 bln of properties across eight European countries. From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Lopez was a Managing Director at JPMorgan (London) where he was Head of European Real Estate Investment Banking. During this time he was involved in some $35 bn of European real estate related acquisitions and mergers. Prior to 1997, he worked at JPMorgan (New York) and was involved in some 40 stock and bond offerings raising over $6bn of capital for real estate entities. He began his career at JPMorgan in the Natural Resources Group, working in the mining and oil/gas industries.

Mr. Lopez has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and BSc from California State University Long Beach.
