With more than 35 years of service in the Indian government, Mr. Lakshminarayanan recently joined SUN Group to lead Corporate Affairs in India. His last assignment with the Government was Secretary in the Inter-State Council Secretariat in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, a prestigious constitutional body headed by the Prime Minister of India, where he developed very valuable relationships with Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of States and senior bureaucrats. During his time with the Government of India he travelled extensively both in India and overseas, including a posting in Paris for five years as Vice Chairman in UNESCO's Communication Development Program.

Graduated from the Indian Administrative Service, Mr. Lakshminarayanan holds a post graduate degree in Chemistry and an MBA from the University of Manchester in Advanced Social and Economic Studies.
